Prior to joining forces with Santiago to turn RBOT into a Commercial venture, Russell Roy has worked in the Medical Device field for over 20+ years. In this time, he has worked in not only the operating room and sales, but also medical device manufacturing with several different companies. The big lesson learned from all of these experiences is that true and tested manufacturing processes lead to good/safe products and customer satisfaction.

Similar to working in the medical device field under ISO 9001 and 13485 Standards, Roy Brothers wants to ensure as little defects in our work as possible. We maintain our equipment similar to that of Total Productive Maintenance standards, employing both predictive and reactive maintenance to ensure that our equipment is always running in a top-notch fashion so that we can get the best results possible. Before starting a new job, we also perform a process plan based on the current job parameters, as well as lessons learned from past experiences to ensure that we maximize our effectiveness. Lastly, we take cues from the LEAN manufacturing process to ensure that we are moving in a way to minimize movement, energy loss, and wasted time to be as efficient as possible.
